Partners In Urban Ministry (PIUM)

Mission: Our organization strives to foster partnerships among LCMS congregations and entities to accomplish God’s mission in our midst.

Goals of this Core Team:

· Develop a strategy to develop and track funding for the mission and ministries of the organization.

· Work with and through Member congregations and interested individuals to raise the funds needed to carry out the mission of the organization.

· Work with the Organization Teams and Committees and Board to develop a budget for each.

Projects-To-Date:

· Though not technically a project of this Core Team, the Information Services “Committee” (on the “Training & Education” Core Team) serves as an on-going liaison for volunteers for prior PIUM Teams, via the Internet

 

Former PIUM Teams incorporated into this Core Team:

· Development Committee (fund-raising)

· Finance Committee (budgeting and facilitating annual audit)
