¨ Urban Ministry Institute (UMI)

¨ UMI is a pilot program being offered to eight city congregations. It is being designed as a learning community where the participants, presenters and facilitators can expect to learn from one another.

¨ Each individual participant will be expected to have a high level of commitment  regarding attendance, participation and preparation. For the pilot we hope to recruit a Pastor and two key lay leaders from eight city churches.

¨ The UMI goal is to develop lay leadership for mission in the city while fostering healthy relationship in our church community. It is our intention to reproduce the institute in the future so commitment to the program is essential.
